Citadel Insurance Risk Retention Group is a stock insurance company owned by its policyholders who consist of organizations involved in the residential and commercial building construction industry. This program is intended to cover the risks of a builder that are not otherwise covered by a builder's GL insurance policy, such as the repair of negligently performed work to the extent a trade contractor will not honor its contractual repair of warranty commitments, resultant damage from negligently performed work , work not otherwise covered by GL insurance, cost paying for deductibles and SIRS under builders GL insurance policies that are otherwise uninsured and of specified loses not covered by GL insurance.
